The Polomoche gained his first win in a 2M 1F novice hurdle here at Huntingdon. He has won 3 of his 6 wins over fences, all 3 wins coming on good or good to soft. He won a 2M 4F Aintree hunter chase in May by just over a length from Lord Henry, with the pair pulling over 50 lengths clear of Lord Ryeford who has won twice since and is now rated 126 over fences.
The Polomoche contested a higher quality hunter chase last time over 2M 6½F at Newbury on good to soft. He made a few errors and could only finish 5th, however form of the run has worked out well. The 2nd, Cloudy Lane, won next time out while the 4th and 6th were both placed next time out.
Conditions will suit The Polomoche today and Sam Painting, who rides today, was on board for his last win. On official figures he is best in on today’s terms and he should get back to winning ways in this.
